This image depicts the mouth of the Fraser River and the log sort where thousands of raw logs are floating, waiting to go overseas. In the background in the very center is Mount Baker, a dormant volcano in norther Washington State, USA. In the foreground is a pulp or garbage barge, a common sight on Georgia Strait.
The vignetting was brought out by the tonemapping process and is a characteristic of this 18-55 kit lens that came with my Pentax K-x.
I am a communications technology pro by trade, and an activist at heart. I care deeply about the health of my family and work hard to contribute to solutions to the great challenges of our day such as climate change and an out-of-control food system.
